collegeballR is a package written for R focusing on college sports analysis. Currently functions accquire data from various sources. Note if you are trying to get baseball data, I would look at Bill Petti’s baseballr pkg.
This is not on CRAN, you can install it from github.

There are three main functions that provide data of interest:
(1) team_stats = Overall team stats (either per season or per game)
(2) player_stats = All player stats (either per season or per game)
(3) team_schedule = Team Schedule/Result/Site/Record

These are functions/sports that are currently available. I just have some higher hopes for the family of functions, there.
